Eustreptospondylus lutum is a medium sized theropood, prowling the riverbanks, coastlines and plains throughout the island, usually traveling in pairs or small groups.
They have relatively weak jaws and so are primarily scavengers, living off the scraps of predators, aquatic prey, or whatever washes up on the shores of Saurian Isle's waterways. Despite this, they will not pass up the opportunity of a dying animal to take down.
Due to their social mentality, they are known to work together to drive off other carnivores from their kills, with booming hisses and grunts to intimidate them.
