             6 tons (males)

Triceratops regalis, the largest ceratopsian on Saurian Isle, and one of the most common, found throughout the island, though usually along the south side, particularly the southern plains.

Like many of the island's Ceratopsians, Triceratops lives in mixed herds comprised of multiple species, most commonly Styracosaurus and Pachyrhinosaurus. This behavior's function is almost certainly as a defense mechanism, with a large number of deadly theropod species on Saurian Isle, more individuals means a greater chance of spotting the danger first, and defending each other.

Young male Triceratops typically herd among other bachelor males, leaving  their group when they reach sexual maturity at the age of 10. Adult males are usually safe from most predators due to their sheer size and strength, apart from the very largest of theropods such as Tyrannosaurus, Giganotosaurus, and packs of Allosaurus. They live solitary lives, only congregating during breeding season. During the breeding season, males get very aggressive due to high levels of testosterone, they will take this anger out on other similarly irate males, but if they're not present, they will attack trees or rocks. This can be dangerous to females and young individuals, as they can also be seen as potential challengers to the males, making breeding season a bad time to be around these giant horned dinosaurs.
